I’ve taken Cheater’s Relief and I really haven’t noticed *much difference. I may have lost fat but I haven’t noticed any tipping of scales (could be a result of weight lifting and cardio). I’d have to say that it eliminates possibly one snack but not much else. I started at 180lbs and now I’m at 178 (which doesn’t excite me very much as I go between 174-183 on a weekly basis).

I’m trying to share my experience with this product as well as shed some light on the most effective way to use this product based on information I have gained from BSN and my own experiences. I also want to clear up misconceptions on this product - reason being I am a consistent user of dietary supplements for weight lifting and intake of proper nutrition and I get extremely annoyed when I see reviews on products that I know are effective but get a low rating because customers do not understand the product or how to use it.
I’ve been using cheaters relief ever since I first started using BSN products. I don’t know much about the clinical research on this supplements ingredients but if it wasn’t effective I wouldn’t have been using for the last 5 or 6 years. As long as you only use it about once or twice a week (and if you are serious about losing weight then you shouldn’t be having more than 1 or 2 cheat meals a week) and you are not consuming more calories than your BMR within a day than I have found Cheaters Relief to be very effective. So basically if your BMR was 2000 calories a day and lets say you ate 1200 cals and then decided to use C.R. for your last meal or snack then you could effectively block and store about 800 calories-what ever doesn’t get blocked by the carb and fat inhibiting blends should be pushed into lean tissue aka muscle. Now in order for this process to work you need to be working out and consistently burning glycogen (through cardio) and or weight lifting (gaining muscle mass.)
And one more thing I’ve seen people review this product as if it were a fat burner. IT’S NOT. It’s a calorie inhibitor and re-director. This is also not a product that is going to do much for weight loss as a stand alone product, that is not what it is meant for. If you want to cut fat use a thermogenic fat burner and add this to your supplement regimen to effectively block bad calories. I find this product stacks very well with Anabolic Pump made by USP Labs. Sorry for the long review, and I would highly recommend Cheaters Relief, it is an awesome product.
Editor’s comments: Jeff, although there are some decent ingredients in Cheater’s Relief (see the review here!), there is very little clinical data that validates either the carb or fat blocking claims of this product. We would argue that any product could conceivably appear to work if you do not exceed your BMR (basal metabolic rate). After all, if you do not consume more calories than you expend, it’s going to be impossible for you to gain weight, perhaps reinforcing the perception this product has real merit.
