Proactol

Remember though… just because Proactol receives a few positive reviews does not necessarily mean it will work for you. Conversely, a negative product review does not always mean you should dismiss it. As always, remember that personal testimonials are anecdotal, and are no alternative to properly conducted clinical trials.

Be very careful ordering this product. Proactol does not work, gives very bad stomach cramps and there IS NOT an unconditional guarantee.
Look for the fine print. You must take product for 120 days to receive a refund. If you take it for less time than that and want your money back you need to provide a doctors note.
Not very convenient. Shady company.

I have lost weight after I consumed Proactol. Of course Proactol alone couldn’t help me to lose weight, I know that.
I have started a regular exercise program but Proactol is a really good addition (for me).
Proactol has been helping me to control my food cravings although not as well as advertised on its web.
I never experienced any stomach cramps so I think Proactol is really worth it. I don’t know what everyone else has said about this product because products have different effects on each of us. But for me, it works although not as great as you might think.

I’ve been on Proactol since 28.12.07 and 4 months later I’ve seen no difference. Worst even, I’ve put more weight on for relying on this product.

Total utter rubbish, don’t waste your money! You eat more because they tell you that you can, and you might as well be popping smarties.

Proactol is the worst diet company I’ve ever dealt with, I am disappointed with them.
After reading so many good reviews about he product, I ordered this expensive stuff that did nothing for me but caused me to break out. I could not tolerate this product – I was only able to take it a couple of times – so I called them right away but they wanted me to provide a doctors note.
So now I have to take time off work to go to the doctor and pay for the visit, it’s ridiculous!
Also, be careful because when you make the purchase they did not tell me that US customs charges you for the product. I received the product and a week later I got a bill from DHL for $30 dollars. After I contacted DHL they said that Proactol was aware of this fee and was responsible for informing their customers about it.
I contacted Proactol and again, their reply was so ridiculous, they denied knowing anything about it. As exporters, Proactol must know their product is subject to duties in the US .They could have at least mention it somewhere in their terms and conditions.
The worst company ever, I am planning to start a blog to inform people about the other side of this company so they know what they are getting into before they buy from proactol.

Proactol is the worst diet pill that I have ever tried. I ordered a 2 months supply and I did not lose a pound. After I finished my 2 months supply, I asked them for the refund, but they said that I did not order a 4 month’s supply. So there is no refund. False advertisement!
This diet pill company is a robbery. It cost me $168.95 for a 2 month supply, and I did not lost a pound. This UK company is a royal robber.

I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews here? Seriously, I’ve taken this fat binder for more than 6 months and I must said I’m very impressed with the results – 35lbs off! Of course I did exercise regularly because I know pills alone won’t help us lose weight.

I’m on my 3rd month of Proactol. I am a male weighing 205 lbs at 5 foot 8. I work out an average of once a week, I also do strenuous outdoor work.
After taking Proactol after meals and snacking rarely I have NOT seen any difference in my weight. I live my life the same way I always did, only now I take these pills. I have not experienced any amount of suppressed diet, I am still just as hungry as usual.
Maybe this product doesn’t work because of the simple fact that it IS all natural? How do you expect something that is natural, harm-free, and good for you to actually make you lose weight? Sounds too good to be true to me.
Editor’s comments: In most cases, the term “all natural” is a mostly used as a marketing term, designed to cast a soft-focus, warm, rosy glow over everything it’s applied to (see this blog post for more on this). However, just because something is derived from natural sources does not mean it cannot work; the medicinal plants, food compounds and herbs that are typically found in weight loss products are pharmacologically active and have been proven to be so.
Whether they happen to be present in high enough doses, or whether the advertiser’s claims represent an accurate view of what can reasonably expected with supplementation is another story altogether.

Spent more than $200 on these pills and took them despite their side effects for 4 months, no weight loss, trying to get a refund, impossible company to deal with, they claim their product works and i did not use it properly. No not buy this and waste your money!

Proactol is a scam. Do not purchase this product. You will not receive a refund despite their 100% refund claim. It does not work.
My doctor was shocked to find that “natural” pills could have such negative effects on the digestive system, cramps, diarrhea, nausea etc.

No use whatsoever. Waste of time and money. Stay well clear. Did not work for me. Bad customer service.

I agree.Have had absolutely nil effect. I was too nervous to buy the Alli (xenical) type pills and thought this was a good alternative, as it was endorsed by an English quality newspaper. Got nothing from them and my appetite is the same. It’s me that is the failure, but the tablets are still a con.

I used a 3 month supply of Proactol (3 boxes) taking the 3 per day as recommended (which actually meant it lasted for about 2 months). While using it I did 3 days of Thai boxing, 1-2days of running or weights and dieted giving myself 1-2 cheat days. My weight went from 97kg to 91kg in that time.
So basically with Proactol you have to be willing to exercise and diet sufficiently for it to work. However I am giving them such a low rating because of their DODGY business practices.
Warning to those planning to make a purchase, if you’re not from UK its likely a week or so after receiving the product you’ll get a bill from your courier for duty taxes and they only specify this in fine print on their website. Mine was $50 AUD. Second way they burnt me is on the box it says if you refer a friend you and your friend get a free box each.
So my friend mate a purchase and I emailed them to tell them it was a referral. They emailed me back saying that only people who order by phone and say they were referred are eligible for the free boxes.

Today is my day 4 on Proactol. I’ve read lots of negative reviews, but I want to see for myself. So far, it’s too early for any weight loss, but it has helped with decreasing appetite. I notice that the more pills I take the fuller I feel. I will keep you guys posted, I want to give it a fair chance and see what happens.

I’m on day 4 of Proactol. I know they said there are no side effects to this product, however I have diarrhea and I never get that. Maybe it’s just coincidence however I’m still a little questioned by it. I think It’s been an amazing appetite suppressant so far. Usually I’m an all day snacker and am always hungry but now I’m having to remind myself to eat.
The first day I was a little gassy and I did feel minor stomach cramping but nothing intolerable. I think It may make me lose weight because I do eat a lot less now. Overall it’s been ok for me but I will have to see if the diarrhea goes away or not.

Ok, people seem to have this misconception of proactol, and the misconception is that you can eat whatever you want. Wrong. You still have to diet and excercise regardless of what pills you are taking… Proactol is just an aid not a miracle cure.
I personally have found that it does work, but only because I am dieting and exercising. Its helped me lose more weight than I know I normally do when I am dieting/exercising – about a pound or two more – so I’m satisfied and will continue using Proactol when needed.

I was wary of taking the tabs at all, as I have IBS and my pharmacist said I should be cautious of any unfamiliar products that contain fibre in addition to that which I already take. Well, I decided to take the plunge and try it out and build up gradually. It’s been about 1-2 week and aside from some early adjustments – a little “wind” and softer stools – my system has settled back down to normal and I’m very comfortable even taking 4 tabs when required. I haven’t started a strict diet (or exercise routine) and though I’m not a ‘big eater’ anyway, I have made a concious effort not to snack on junk between meals and keep it to fruit or crackers etc. I think that with me, it will be slow progress, but I find it easier to stick with something like that, rather than an extremely strict diet. I’m more of a “small steps” person. I do think that the tabs are taking the edge off my hunger pangs, but at the moment it’s too early to tell if they’re just having a placebo effect or if it is in fact my own will-power. I am optimistic but will have to be patient and wait and see what the end result is in about 2-3 months time.
