Wu-Yi Tea
Below you’ll find some visitor comments on Wu-Yi tea. If you’d like to post comments on your own experiences with Wu-Yi tea, you can do that too!
Remember though… just because Wu-Yi tea receives a few positive reviews does not necessarily mean it will work for you. Conversely, a negative product review does not always mean you should dismiss it. As always, remember that personal testimonials are anecdotal, and are no alternative to properly conducted clinical trials.

Better for you to go to the store buy green tea. It will work better than this tea. I tried it and lost nothing but money. And their was zero customer service!

Well to start I got onto your site and it sounded great! I went through your STRICT requirements to see if I would ‘qualify’ for your free trial and I put my date of birth to make my age 2009 years old! Then a man popped up on screen and told me I am perfect for your product! What kind of strict guidelines have you got in place where someone who is 2009 yrs old can qualify! I think you should rethink your methods of advertising if this is the case!
Editor’s comments: The Wu-Yi site is not “our” site. We have nothing to do with this retailer, nor do we sell any products of our own.

I ordered the “free” trial of the tea. After I had ordered it, I can across a website similar to this one with customer reviews about the tea.
Other customers reported how they were overcharged, couldn’t cancel their orders, and when they tried to contact the company they got no response, but their credit cards were charged for full orders. Sure enough, only a few days after I ordered the tea I looked at my visa statement and I was charged the full amount for the “free trial”. As I said, according to what others I had read said, there was no point to try to contact the company, so I called Visa directly and fussed. About 3 days later I looked at my visa statement online and I had been given a full refund.
As for the tea itself, I can’t say it did anything more for me than drinking a normal tea.

I was using this tea stuff and it has recently come to my attention that the wu-yi company has actually been stealing my money every few weeks since I brought it in february. I first noticed a few months ago that small amounts of money was missing. Thinking I had just overspent I didn’t do anything about it. 2 or 3 weeks ago I went through my bank statement and came across all the debits they had been STEALING from me each with different names or subjects matters. I rang my bank and was issued a new card and was refunded most of the money back.
My advice:
1. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IT DOES NOT WORK AND YOU CAN PURCHASE GREEN TEA FROM YOUR SUPERMARKET FOR A LOT CHEAPER!!!!
2. IF YOU HAVE PURCHASED IT THAN PLEASE CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENT ASAP CHANCES ARE THEY ARE STEALING YOUR MONEY AS WELL!!!!
BEWARE OF THE WU YI COMPANY – IT IS NOT ONLY A SCAM, BUT THEY ARE ALSO THIEVES!

I gave this a 3 because I have not had Wu-Yi brand oolong tea before (nor would I spend the money), but I get oolong teas at the grocery store or amazon.com (box of 100 teabags is under $10). There are some wonderfully flavored ones (Stash has a good mango and coconut one) and I usually drink a couple cups a day. I tend to do it because I like tea, but when I drink it with/after a meal, I end up having to go to the bathroom soon after. It makes my stomach feel less bloated and it gives me just enough energy to last the day. Plus it fills me up when I drink it with a meal, making me eat less. I also make my own blends with ginger and such to help with digestion.

Just don’t even think about this product. I didn’t even order it because I was so disgusted by their customer service. I got halfway through ordering – aka just put down my name and phone number and e-mail address – when I decided to back out. However, they still got my phone number, and called me NONSTOP for 4 days! They left weird, silent voice mails, and when I picked up there was a heavily accented voice or just silence. I finally said “if you don’t stop calling me I will report your company.” Kind of a bluff, because I’m not sure who I would report to, but at least they got the hint and stopped. It was soooo weird.
